March 02 Week 9 Weigh InI think I have hit a wall for this week I weighed in on Tuesday and am at 344.8 lbs I weighed myself today and no change, but it has been a busy and stessfull week and have not been able to make it to the gym as often as I should the last time I went to the gym was on Tuesday and then again today but things are about to change, Adams schedule is changing to night now which is what I work so we will be able to get up in the morning and be able to excersise before both of us have to go to work and now he has weekends off so we will be able to go saturday and sunday atleast for the next 3 weeks. I am hoping this will get my metabolism back up to start burning the calories again. February 27 GREAT NEWS CAME TODAYSo yesterday I went to the Doctor cause I was told I had inflamation in my liver so I had to have blood work the doctor must have put a rush on it cause I had my results today, Good News it is nothing serious the dr said there is a slight elevation in the liver but it is just cause right now I have a Fatty Liver and if I keep losing weight and eating right then the levels should go back to the normal range so I have to go back in 6 weeks and be weighed and have blood work again to check the levels again. I knew I would be able to get through this. February 26 Another Day Another PoundToday started off pretty good, I had a doctors appointment to have some blood work done because when I went to urgent care on the 17th they did blood work and said that I had an inflamed liver, I really hope it is nothing serious such as galbladder issues cause that can cause the inflamation of the liver, or maybe my body is in shock from the diet charge and rapid weight loss I am now down to 344.8 lbs since January 2nd when I started to lose the weight an18.7 lb loss in almost 2 months as I near the end of February I now realize this is going to happen and it will continue till I am down to where I want to be. At this point no matter what happens with my health I will be back up and continue my fight to lose weight I am not going to let this get me down I AM A FIGHTER ..........Today since I didnt go to work because I had to go to the Doctor Adam and I went to the Gym and worked out with our trainer we did lower body today, we did squats, lunges,backwards lunges, and we ran the stairs 4 times each 2 different ways so all in all I feel pretty good. February 23 Week 8 Weigh InWOOOOO HOOOOO I am now down to 345.4 so this week I have lost 2.6 Lbs this week I am so happy, today Adam and I went to the gym and got our buts totally kicked by the trainer.......today we worked upper body and he had us doing our arms and back boy do I really feel sore it was a lot of free weights and bench presses.....for my self i was doing between 10 and 15lbs and doing 45 lb bench presses and this went on for 3 cycles we worked out for a good hour and a half then because we were sweating we went swimming to cool off. I was a good day.
February 20 Motivationmotivation is a definate must when it comes to losing weight. my husband got me up at 4:30am to go to the gym with him before he had to go to work....you see we are on different schedules he works days and I work nights, so when I get off work at 8:00pm I am too wired to go to bed so I dont got to bed till sometimes 12:30am, so I want to sleep in until about 10:00am before I have to go to work......I keep telling myself I will get up and go to the gym early in the morning but when the time comes I seem to stay in bed February 18 Dehydration SucksSo yesterday was not a good day, I took adam to work like I do every sunday and was feeling fine went back home got a few more hours of sleep, had breakfast and lunch and was still feeling fine until about 2 o'clock when i started getting these sharp pains in my chest and back, I picked up adam from work at 3 and was in pain all the way there....I thought I was going to die.....I told adam I need to go to urgent care because it was so bad.......2 hours later the dr comes back in and says I was dehydrated......I so thought I was doing the right thing and drinking plenty of water but I guess one day of not staying hydrated after working out the day before is not good. I definatley learned my lesson. February 15 Week 7 Weigh InI just weighed in today and only lost .8lbs so I am officially at 348.0 I love to see whole numbers, so total weight loss to date is 15.5 pounds woooo hoooo, I know right now the weight is not comming off as easily because I am going to the gym 3 time a week and my body is starting to build muscle but I know that my clothes are now begining to get loose and soon I hope to be able to shop for a smaller size. I know this can be done and I am not going to give up on myself or my husband, we will see how much we have lost by easter because we really want to see the reaction on our families face because we have not seen then since christmas. ![]() Myspace Comments @ 123glitter.com February 13 DO YOU SEE WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTUREFebruary 09 in the excersise faze of this adventureso today we went on another hike up south mountain and we took a differnet trail it was a flatter trail so it was not so hard on our knees this time, we also went to the YMCA and signed up for a gym membership so adam and I can go together or we can go on our own because our schedules are different we will probably have to go seperatley but thats ok I am fine with as long as we can get the weight off it will be worth it. February 06 Week 6 Weigh InWoooHOOOO Week 6 was a good week I lost about 6 pounds this Week so I have gone from 354 lbs to 348.8 so I am very proud of myself in 1 month I have lost 14.7 pounds I dont think I have been under 350 lbs since High School and that was almost 10 years ago, I can tell now I am definatley on the right track and both Adam and I will make it through this journey. Our Hiking Adventure Today I had a day off cause I worked on Sunday, Adam was also off today so I had a crazy idea to go for a Hike up South Mountain which is about a mile from our apartment so we left our apartment at about 12:00 and we started walking to the Mountain Parking Lot when we got there we had a couple of trail choices neither of us are experianced hikers so we chose a trail and started walking,it tooks us about 20 minutes to get to the top of a small hill on the mountain and then we took a trail back down and hiked towards the back of the trail and we were very unsure about where it lead and didnt want to make any mistakes and get stuck on the mountain so we decided to head back the way we came so by the time we got back to the bottom both of us were feeling pretty good. February 02 Our Zoo TripToday Adam and I went to the zoo, we got there at around 11:00 and we walked the whole zoo which is about 1 Mile all the way around, I had not been to the zoo since I was a kid so it was great to see how everything had changed. There was a lot of temptation from popcorn to cotton candy and hotdogs and churros but all we did was walk we didnt stop for food we took our Biggest Loser waterbottles and walked. There was hills and small inclines so the walk was quite a workout at times. We left there at about 2:00pm so we were there for about 3 hrs so it was a good cardio workout January 30 Week 5 Weigh InOk so last week I had a bad week I had gained 3 lbs, This week was a better Weeks the 3lbs I gained last week came off this week so I am back down to 354 lbs which is the same as 2 weeks ago but thats ok at least I am back on the right track. I only have 4 pounds to lose to be at 350, my goal is to lose 30 lbs by July 1st, so at this pointI have lost 9.5 pounds so i have 20.5 pounds more to go. Now that I have the DVD's and the Biggest Loser books I am on my way. January 26 Biggest Loser Million Pound Match Up Tour Today the Biggest Loser came to Phoenix Arizona, Adam and I got up early this morning at 8:15am and we got to Arizona Mills Mall at 8:45am, no one was there yet but we were the first couple in line. There was great give aways from the New Biggest Loser work out DVD'd Cardio Max and Power Sculpt and the Biggest Loser Fitness Program Book. The prior Biggest Loser Winners were there Last Seasons Biggest Loser Bill Grmanakos and Holly Self from Season 4 it was so great to see both of them they both are inspiring. But a very UNEXPECTED GUEST CAME........CAN YOU GUESS WHO IT WAS??????? well here is a hint they were just voted off last week.....yup you guessed it BETTY SUE from the Pink team on the Biggest Loser Couples.........oh my gosh it was like a big suprise. This event was great we got to meet the people who inspire us to lose weight and talk to dietitions and trainers to get helpful tips on how to start this weight loss journey. Adam finally figured out how much he actually weighed he is 487 lbs no i didnt studder thats right so now that we know what to do and come to find out we had already started off on the right track with dieting and excercise with the book and dvd's it will help us achieve our goal even more we are excited to achieve these goals. January 23 Week 4 Weigh InOk so this is Week 4 Weigh In......Bad News I gained back 3 pounds so I am now back up to 357.0 lbs, I was doing so well I dont know what went wrong, I was hoping to loose the last 4 pounds to be at a goal of 350.0 but now i have gone into reverse this just means i must work harder to get the extra weight off and then some for next week. January 22 Our Wedding AnniversaryOk, So Sunday January 20th was our 1 year wedding Anniversary and trying to stick to a diet was hard. So we actually spurged not to much though. So as for that traditonal frozen wedding cake, Adam and I had a small slice the frosting was horriable but the chocolate cake on the inside was not so bad. We went out to dinner to Claim Jumpers for those who have never heard of it its this restraunt that serves barbaque and steaks and chicken in HUGE portians. Adam got Jumbalya and I got Rotissare Chicken, thinking of portion size, we both knew we were not going to be able to eat the whole meal, so we ate what we could and took the rest home for lunch for the next day, we did have desert they gave us a complimentary slice of there mud pie which is an ice cream pie, we split that and it just hit the spot. After dinner we went to gameworks and played video games, and I can say that dance dance revolution is quite a work out, so we still got our excercise in there as well, all in all it was the funnest anniversary we have had and I cant wait to see what is in store for the next few years, now both of us are back on track with our routines.
January 20 The Moviessaturday tabitha and i went to the movies and watched i am legend her and i started out in the morning bye going to her mothers house to get out cake from one year ago. i know you going to ask why we did that well see this is me and tabithas first aniversy of being married and we are ok with cheating this week a small bite of the cake wasnt going to be that bad. i will get to that in a lil bit. well any way her and i went to go get the cake and then she took me to work for i only had to work 3 hours that day i was picking up a couple of hours because i was covering someones shift at my job i work at sears if your wondering. well she came an picked me up at 2:30 and then her and i went to chandler mall and got lunch and rubios its a baja grill we had a chicken burro with a wheat tortilla that was off the chain and then we had a bottle of water to wash it all down. see there is alternitives to eating if you want to eat out. me and tab did a little shopping and then went to see our move i am legend and it was worth it. we did splurge a little and shared a diet coke it felt crazy drinking soda when i didnt have it for over three weeks and i had a reg popcorn light butter and she had gummie bears fat free folks, so i think we did good. well after the movie her and i went frys and got some healthy cambells clam chowder good stuff folks not as salty then we turned in around 12:30. January 16 3rd Week Weigh inwell it has been 3 weeks since i started to lose weight and I just had my 3rd week weigh in and I am only down 2 pounds from last week, I am now down to 354.0 lbs so for the total 3 weeks i have lost 9.5 lbs which is good i wish that my 2 lb loss was like 5lbs but its a start and i am already seeing a differnce in my energy level and some of my clothes are starting to fit looser, I am still hoping to achieve my goal weight at least 330 lbs by the 1st of July. so this is a good start so far January 13 shopping tripTabitha and i went shopping today and as we started this journey it was really intresting to see how much garbage they actually try to sell us. Every isle i went through there was junk food items we didn't need. we bought the vitamin water and really good things for salad. i was amazed how accommodating some of these big company's were to the 100 cal kick anything you would crave they had but in smaller portions so you wont cheat in a bad way. i havent had a soda in about 1 weak and dont plan to i like the water and the crystal light packs you can put in them. we also got a George foreman grill so we are going to make this happen America. January 11 The Weight Loss has begunIt has been a week since I have started on this biggest loser million pound march, my husband Adam and I have made a commitment this year to begin losing weight. I had weighed myself starting on 01/02/2008 and I have to admit when I say what showed on the scale that day I was astonished my weight was up to 363.5 lbs. I knew that at my age 26 that I had to start doing better for myself, especially since we have been married almost a year and want to have a family. Both of us realized that this is not going to be possible without us getting ourselves to a healthy weight. On 01/09/2007 it was a week from my first weigh in and now the scale said my weight was 356.0 lbs I was amazed that in one week I had lost 7.5 lbs, I felt so good I felt almost as good as the people on the biggest loser show when they start to loose weight. I have now realized that with eating right and exercise my goals can be achieved. I have set a personal goal for myself right now to at least loose 30 lbs and then go from there, once my personal I know my self esteem will be better. |
